Jens Liebchen - “Horsepower”

“The project focuses on the rapid change of the society in the Central-Asian Republik Kyrgyzstan from “Nomadism” to “Car-Culture”. The photographs were taken in Bishkek, around Lake Issyk Kol and in the mountain-ranges of the Tien Shan in 2008 and 2009. The project has been supported by the Goethe-Institute.”
